What’s in the set
Every classic on this site, one card each, in the order they appear on the classics page: Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Negroni, Daiquiri, Margarita, Whiskey Sour, Martini, Gimlet, Tom Collins, Mojito, Boulevardier, Paper Plane. Six letter pages, two cards per page, colour-coded by method.
Each card has the spec in ounces with millilitres alongside, the method in a sentence, the glass, the ice, and the garnish. The notes about why the spec is what it is stay on the web page for each drink; the card is the thing you read with wet hands.
Which specs
The widely used modern versions. Where there’s a real argument, the drink’s page says so and the card carries the version most bars pour: 2 : 1 : ¾ Daiquiri, 5 : 1 Martini, 1½ oz bourbon Boulevardier, rich syrup rather than a sugar cube in the Old Fashioned. If you disagree with one, that’s what the blank cards are for, and honestly it’s the point.
Print settings
US Letter, scale 100%, margins none, card stock. Colour printing makes the method strips useful; in black and white the cards still work, you just lose the colour code.
